Jeff Barrett is a leader in the Florida Rehabilitation Profession. He has worked in the field of human services since 1971 providing addiction recovery services for adolescents and adults, as well as vocational guidance, job development and medical trauma case management services. He is familiar with the principles of law that affect rehabilitation case management and litigation, ERISA, and civil liability litigation.
Mr. Barrett carries multiple national certifications in Addictions, Rehabilitation, Vocational Evaluation and Case Management. He is a listed EN with the Ticket to Work program for Social Security. Mr. Barrett currently specializes in forensic vocational expert services. He is the sole owner/operator of Options Plus, Inc. since February of 2000. He served as a Board member of his Professional Association, the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals in Florida for over twenty years from 1997 to the present and was honored by his professional colleagues to be the Association President for 2003-04.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Barrett has served as a consultant to the Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention. He was a City Commission appointee to the Hollywood Education Advisory Board and a Broward County appointee to the Broward Substance Abuse Advisory Board. Mr. Barrett also served as a Governor’s appointment to the Florida Rehabilitation Council.
