Vocational Rehabilitation & Evaluation

 

Jeff Barrett has over 35 years of experience providing medical/case management services for workers compensation, LTD, marital, loss of earning capacity claims, and on addictions recovery/rehabilitation. He holds national certification as a CAP, CRC, CCM, and CVE.

Mediation

 

Barrett is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family and County Court mediator (15602CF). He is currently active serving the Broward County Court. Mediation has been a lifelong interest now supported by 35 years of experience in litigation serving the legal community as an expert.

Ticket to Work

 

Traditional vocational assistance and guidance for individuals with a disability to secure stable employment. Barrett provides services for the full duration of the Ticket to Work (TTW) program coverage often for five years or longer of support services at no cost to the TTW clients. He provides the continuing services to ensure the protection of Social Security benefits as intended by this program.

Social Security Vocational Expert (SSVE)

 

Barrett has provided SSVE services for the ODAR offices of Social Security since 2011. His extensive experience as a medical/vocational case manager has provided a strong foundation for the objective and fair testimony required by Social Security. Barrett has provided consultation regarding the ODAR process, standards, and documentation required for the successful presentation of a claim. *(Disclaimer: Mr. Barrett can not provide consultation where he may become assigned to a particular claim as the hearing VE)
